Theophil Ciesielski
1846–1916
Polish botanist. A student of Ferdinand Julius Cohn at Breslau (Wrocław); PhD 1871. Professor of botany and director of the botanic garden, University of Lemberg (Lwów; now Lviv), 1872–94. Founder and editor of the beekeeping journal Bartnik postępowy, 1875–1914.
