Friedrich Albert Lange
1828–75
German philosopher, pedagogist, political activist, and journalist. Professor of philosophy at Zurich, 1870; taught at Marburg from 1872. Considered the impacts of developments in natural science on philosophy. Articulated a socialist Darwinism.
