Adolf Mühry
1810–88
German physician and bioclimatologist. Studied medicine at Göttingen, 1829–33. Worked as a military surgeon and then physician. From 1854, a private scholar, studying the relationship between climate, geography, and disease, and wrote major works on the topic.
