Barrister. Son of Acton and Henrietta Euphemia Tindal of the Manor House, Aylesbury; his brother Nicolas married a great-granddaughter of Erasmus Darwin (1731–1802). BA, Oxford, 1870; BCL 1877. Called to the bar, Lincoln’s Inn, 1878.
