1845–1937
Jurist. BA, Cambridge University, 1867; fellow of Trinity College, 1868. Called to the bar, 1871. Corpus Professor of jurisprudence, Oxford, 1883–1903. Founding editor of the Law Quarterly Review, 1885. Wrote extensively on legal topics. Succeeded as third baronet in 1888.
