Clergyman and missionary. Son of Allen Francis Gardiner. BA, Oxford, 1855; MA, 1857. Minister at Nailsworth, Gloucester, 1860–5. Chaplain of Lota, Chile, from 1869 to 1873 or 1874. Chaplain to the bishop of Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia, 1874–8.
