Nurseryman. Solicitor's clerk in Stamford, 1851. Lawyer in Stamford, 1861, 1871. Seedsman in Bedford, 1881, 1891. Raised new varieties of peas, beans, and strawberries. Conducted breeding experiments on Pisum for CD.
