Frederick Du Cane Godman
1834–1919
Ornithologist and entomologist. Educated at Eton, and Trinity College, Cambridge. Travelled in Central America and the Azores. Undertook, with Osbert Salvin, a comprehensive serial publication on the botany and zoology of Central America. FRS 1882.
