Society administrator and embezzler. Born in Puttenham, Surrey, the son of Samuel and Elizabeth Crouch. Curator of the library of the Cambridge Philosophical Society. Yeoman bedell of Cambridge University. Cricketer. Embezzled money from the Cambridge Philosophical Society; declared bankrupt, 1851.
