Robinson Duckworth
1834–1911
Clergyman. BA, Oxford, 1857. Fellow of Trinity College, Oxford, 1860–76. DD 1879. Chaplain to Queen Victoria. Canon of Westminster, 1875; sub-dean, 1895. He was immortalised as the duck in the pool of tears and the duck in the jury box in Alice’s adventures in wonderland.
