Thomas Porter Blunt

1842–1929

Pharmaceutical chemist. BA, Oxford, 1864. Registered as a chemist and druggist in 1868, having been in business before that date. Registered as a pharmaceutical chemist in 1878, having taking the major examination of the Pharmaceutical Society in 1877. In business with his father, Thomas Blunt, at Wyle Cop, Shrewsbury. Public analyst for Shropshire, Montgomery, and Merioneth; responsible for the botanical collection at Shropshire Museum.
