Rudolf Maria Bernhard Stillfried, Graf von
1804–82
German court official and writer. Studied mathematics and art history at the University of Breslau, 1824–30. Master of the ceremonies at the court of Friedrich Wilhelm IV of Prussia, 1843; Lord Chamberlain of the household, 1853. Honorary member of the royal Prussian academy of sciences, 1854. Author of several works on antiquities, art history and history of the German nobility.
