Elisa de Vilmorin

French horticulturist. Born Elisa Bailly. Married Pierre Louis François Léveque de Vilmorin in 1841. President of the Paris seed firm Vilmorin-Andrieux et Cie, 1860–6. Published papers on the breeding of strawberries.
