To J. D. Hooker   25 April [1876]1

Down, | Beckenham, Kent. | Railway Station | Orpington. S.E.R.

Ap. 25

My dear Hooker

I am in trouble as on several former occasions. A new English & a German Edit. of my “Volcanic Isld” & of my “Geological observations on S. America” are wanted, & as yet copies cannot be got for love or money. Did I give you copies & if so will you give them me? Of course the New Edit shall be sent you. But I fear that as you are not a professed Geolog. I did not send them you.—2

Yours affect. | C. Darwin

Footnotes
