Dear Sir

I sent you by post on Feb. 16th a certificate for Mr Swinhoe for the Royal Socy, with a request that you could sign it & return it to me.1 As I have not received it, I am much afraid that it is lost. May I earnestly beg you to inform me by return of post whether you have received it.2
