My dear Sir,

Herr Koch lets me know that he wishes to print a new edition of the “Variation of Animals and Plants under Domestication” in the beginning of next year1   Before I begin to revise the first edition and to make it ready, I take the liberty to ask you, if you have anything to add or to alter or if you have some particular wish with which I of course should be happy to comply.

Believe me, | My dear Sir, | Yours ever sincerely | J. Victor Carus
