[Two lists of shells from James, Charles, and Chatham Islands of the Galápagos, one signed and dated by G. B. Sowerby, who summarises: ‘18 species in the two lists of which 8 identical and 2 identical with Tahitian species 1 [identical] with Hobart town species.’ The other list, on the verso, is in Edward Forbes’s hand, with additions by CD. On the Sowerby list CD has written: ‘Dec. 20 /44/ | From this list of Galapagos shells nothing about Representatives can be made out’]
