From Harrison William Weir 7 May 1869
Weirleigh | Brenchley. Kent
May 7th. 1869
Dear Sir
I have raised some hundreds of daisies from seed this last year. I send you some curious results— the green ones always remain green. They are all from different roots, and shew about the same stage of growth
I heard of a tame Rabbit the other day that had 18 young at a birth— I have one with 11 all doing well— the 18 were also all brought.— the greatest number wild Rabbits have as far as I can learn is 6.1
In greatest haste | Yours Very Truly | Harrison Weir
To C. Darwin Esq L.L.D. etc
