Thanks for letter— it is splendid— pray thank Dr. De Ch cordially for me.1 He evidently belongs to that rare species, a downright good observer. I shall use almost all his letter, of course giving no names.—2 The facts are capital & very curious.— I can quite believe about rubbing thumb & finger, though that does not at present concern me much.—
