Thomas Allen

1813–92

Barrister. Pupil at Shrewsbury School, 1824–31. BA, Oxford (Balliol), 1835; entered Lincoln’s Inn, 1838; moved to the Inner Temple and was called to the bar, 1841. A second cousin of Emma Darwin. Probably the boy ‘Allan’ entertained at The Mount by CD’s sisters in 1825.
