1787–1871

Politician and philanthropist. Resided at Killerton, Broad Clyst, near Exeter, in Devon. Succeeded as tenth baronet, 1794. Tory MP for Devon, 1812–18, 1820–30; North Devon, 1837–57. Supported Catholic emancipation.
