To H. B. Tristram   16 February 1874

Down, | Beckenham, Kent.

Feb. 16. 1874.

Dear Sir,

I hope that you will be so good as to sign the enclosed certificate in favour of our mutual friend Mr Swinhoe, and then return it to me.1 In one of the last notes I received from Mr. Swinhoe, I was glad to hear rather a better account of his health.2

I beg leave to remain, | Dear Sir | Yours faithfully | Ch Darwin

Footnotes
