My Dear Sir

The copies of the Pamphlet have been distributed to your friends & to the Press—excepting Humfreys Jnl of Anatomy & Physiology—the habitat of wch eludes us— Can you aid our search?2

We have sent out advertisements moderately— It will be in Athenæum tomorrow3

I saw poor dear Murchison yesterday— he is falling into a state of torpor—4

I hope your health is better | My Dear Sir | Yours very faithfully John Murray
