Darwin Correspondence Project

From Joseph Cundall to R. F. Cooke   19 May 1871

S.K.M.

May 19, 1871

Dear Sir,

The cost of printing & mounting these photographs by the Woodbury process—including paper would be, singly, 6£ per thousand—or if two are printed together & folded—10£ per 1000—1 If I have good negatives the prints ought all to be of equal merit—

Yours faithfully | Joseph Cundall

R. Cooke Esqr

Footnotes

CD was considering which of several printing processes to use for the photographs in Expression. See letter to R. F. Cooke, 8 May 1871, and letter to John Murray 10 May [1871] and n. 2.
