My dear Charles,
Returning home, I find some Ptarmigan & two pairs of admirable Icelandic Stockings, just arrived from Iceland, presents from my friends there.2 I send you a Ptarmigan, which after due inspection, you will perhaps commit to Erasmus’s Cook,3 to be dressed for our Luncheon on Monday
