Darwin Correspondence Project

From G. H. Darwin   [18 October 1869]1

14 Arlington St

Monday Evg.

My dear Father,

I forgot to ask you to forward me the £52"10s which I shall have to give to Tatham on Thursday.2 I cannot tell until Xmas whether I can afford to pay it myself, as I don’t know what the fellowship dividend comes to yet. 52£ will make my balance rather indecently small so cd you have it put to my account before Thursday. I have called on Tatham & have been just introduced to my fellow pupils, of whom I will give my opinion of Saturday.—

Your affectionate Son | George. H. Darwin
