My dear Sir
I have long wished that the Intellectual Observer, which I have edited from its beginning, should publish some of your important papers on natural history subjects.1
I have not ventured to ask you before before, because I feared that from health & occupation you might not be able to accede to the request, but let me assure you that if at any time, it would be convenient to publish portions of your researches in a scientific magazine, I should be much obliged by your letting me have them for the I. O2
Permit me also to say that as Hon Sec of the Royal Microscopical Society, that any paper from you on points of minute structure would be highly appreciated by that body.3
