My dear Hooker
I have just discovered a stupid oversight— I read your letter that you were going to Norwich on Tuesday, so did not know where to write.— I shd like excessively to dine at your Club;2 but I must leave it as a mere chance— May I do this?? I can find out from Busk when you meet.3 I suppose if my head begins to swim I can go away at any time. after dinner—
