I return P. rigidus.—

I send, also, I am sorry to say two new species to be figured;¹ they are minute & are wrapped up in silver paper at top of Box.

Scalpellum tuberculatum will have to be introduced after S. arcuatum.: and Pollicipes semilatus after P. striatus.— The instructions herewith sent are, I think quite sufficient.

Pray observe how time slips by.— Remember that before the Plates are all engraved, I must have drawings for the woodcuts, as these come in Introduction.—²

I hope that these new figures will not cause you much trouble in altering arrangement.³
