Please send man to sydenham station thence in fly to down to say that Annie has rallied has passed good night danger much less imminent Fanny Hensleigh come Saturday morning nine o clock.

The message is on a form of the Electric Telegraph Company, Strand Station, on which the ‘From’ section reads: ‘Gentleman Montreal | House | Malvern’ and the ‘To’ reads: ‘F. Darwin Esquire | 7 Park St | Grosvenor Sq’. Montreal House was where Anne was being treated and where CD was staying in Malvern.
