William Arms
1802–89
American missionary and physician. From Wilmington, Vermont. Graduated from Andover in 1833. Accompanied Titus Coan to assess the possibility of establishing a mission in Patagonia, November 1833 – January 1834. Later stationed in Singapore and Sambas, Borneo. Released from the service in 1838.
