Charles Magniac

Politician. Educated at Trinity College, Cambridge. MP for St Ives, Cornwall, 1868–74; for Bedford, 1880–5 and 1885–6. Partner in the firm of Matheson and Co., East India and China merchants. First president of the London Chamber of Commerce, 1882.
