William Wedderburn, 4th baronet
1838–1918
Scottish politician and administrator in India. Entered the Indian civil service in 1859. Held revenue and judicial positions in Bombay. A leading supporter of Indian self-government. Retired in 1887. MP for Banffshire, 1893–1900. Became fourth baronet in 1882.
