American billiard-club proprietor and colonel of militia. Owner of the Crescent Billiard Hall, New Orleans. Member of the Mystick Krewe of Rex, 1872–4. Captain of Comus (the Mystick Krewe of Comus, one of the groups that staged parades and balls in New Orleans for Mardi Gras).
