Anne Waring
1662–1722
Daughter and heir of Robert Waring of Wilford, Nottinghamshire. Married William Darwin (1655–82) in 1680. Their son Robert Darwin bought the estate of Elston Hall, Nottinghamshire, from the Lascelles family on the death of his grandmother Anne Lascelles in 1708.
