Henry Charlton Bastian

Physician and specialist in clinical neurology. Assistant physician and lecturer on pathology, St Mary’s Hospital, London, circa 1863–6. Professor of pathological anatomy, University College, London, 1867; physician, University College Hospital, 1878. Best known for his work on spontaneous generation. FRS 1868.
