Botanist, clergyman, and antiquary. Schoolfellow of CD’s in Shrewsbury, 1817. Priest at Lichfield, 1843–6. Curate of St Giles’s, Shrewsbury, 1846–8. Edited the Transactions of the Shropshire Archaeological Society for many years. Published The flora of Shropshire (1841).
