Barrister. BA, Cambridge, 1870. Friend of Francis Darwin. Admitted to Lincoln’s Inn, 1870; called to the bar, 1874; worked on the Oxford circuit. Vice-principal, Working Men’s College, 1883–7. Law examiner, 1892–4. Author of legal works.
