From John Lubbock 19 June [1868]1
15, Lombard Street. E.C.
19 June
My dear Mr. Darwin
I am happy to say that no payment of interest on account of Down School appears to have been made this year.2
I send you a cheque for the Balance & am glad to hear that you have got the matter in hand.3
Next Sunday we shall be away, but if you could come the Sunday after we should be delighted.
I have been hard worked lately with my Royal Institution lectures, but they end on Saturday.4
Believe me, dear Mr Darwin, | Yours most sincerely | John Lubbock
