My Dear Sir
I thank you for sending me Mr Meyers letter from Hildburghausen & return it as desired.2 I am sorry to say I am unacquainted with Brehm’s work to wch it relates & unless you do me the further favor to lend me one or two Vols of it I shall be unable to return an answer3
I am glad to find that you are getting on so well with the revision of your own work & I gather from that that your health is improved4
Sir Ch. Lyell was rejoicing in the privilege of being allowed to read your proofs—wch gave him great satisfaction5
Yours Dear Sir very | sincerely | John Murray
