To Richard Owen 24 [February 1840]
12 Upper Gower St
Monday Morn.
My dear Owen.
Have you any M.S. ready for the Printers.— I write to put you in mind that to day is the 24th.— I trust that you will have all ready by the end of 1st week in March, otherwise I I am sure we shall be in a hurry.—
Will you have the kindness to see that Mr Scharf1 has finished the plates & beg him to inform me directly whether you have seen proofs of all, so that I may see about their printing off.—
Believe me | Most truly Yours | Chas. Darwin
