My dear Sir
You will perhaps remember my writing to you in the summer about a great collection of all the vars. of wheat from Central Asia which had been despatched by the Governor-General.2 I write now merely to say that I suppose the package has been lost in transition; anyhow it has never reached me
My dear Sir | Yours faithfully | Ch. Darwin
