To G. S. Ffinden 4 June 1879
Down, | Beckenham, Kent. | Railway Station | Orpington. S.E.R.
June 4th 1879
My dear Sir
Your last note contains much about measurement &c of which I know nothing & do not feel competent to form any judgment.1 But I have asked my son-in-law, Mr Litchfield,2 who is conversant with such matters, to look into the case, & he will call on you some evening before long to discuss the subject.—
My dear Sir | Yours faithfully | Ch. Darwin
