I heard on Wednesday at the Museum that you were expected soon back. M^r. & M^rs Lyell, Forbes & Prof. Ramsay are coming to a late dinner here on next Saturday (12^th) & return on Monday Morning. Cannot you join us: I hope you will if you possibly can. Forbes & Ramsay leave London Bridge at 4^o. 45’ & take a Fly at Sydenham, you had better join them. I shall ask, also, Sir R. Schomburgk.²

I hope you will come. I want to hear some news of your foreign trip.
