My dear Prof. Newton
If you shd. be in London, will you be so kind as to give your vote at the Athenæum (& speak to any friends if you properly can) in favour of my nephew, Henry Parker.— He is a fellow of Oriel, & I can assure you that he is a fit man for election from his abilities & in every other respect. His ballot comes on at the first meeting, on the 16th of this month.2
